Kitchen Re-Do Part 3A

The GE Range Hood project is now complete!

The electrical has been run through the inverter and I now have a 3 speed fan plus a light that will actually light up the stove top.

. You can actually see that the tile color isn't as dark as it looks without the light shining on it.

Kitchen Re-Do Part 3

The Range Hood has been mounted and the wiring has been run.

The power source will be tied to the inverter.  This is a 110V  home range.  I will finally have light that I can use while cooking!

Kitchen Re-Do Part 2

Here are a couple of photos with the tile back splash installed-

The range top fan and light should come next. I think I will also order a white window cover to help break up the pattern on the wall.

Kitchen Re-Do ...Part 1

DH is working on my Valentine's Day/Birthday Present this week.
This is how the kitchen looked like earlier this week-

We now are in various stages of un-do and re-do...

We will be adding this-

...and this-

From the Past...To the Present

I showed you a Monaco face plate a couple of days ago-

This is what we have done with it.

It is taking the place of the white plate shown here.

All of the plates will be much more similar now...oh- I am sure you saw  the 4th spot on the new plate. It is for the water pump switch that is being removed from the range hood vent that you can see on the left. (Yes-another project in the works!)

A Blast from the Past

This showed up in the mail a couple of days ago-

Yes- we ordered it from Northwest RV Supply. (Hi Joe!)
Stay tuned to see what we are going to do with it!

Fridge/Freezer Temp Gauge

"Happycarz"  shared something with us while we visited in Quartzsite last month. He showed us how he monitored his Norcold fridge. I was  so excited about this that I went searching for it after we got home!

(I am not proud to admit that I spent probably close to an hour trying to find the "La Crosse  Fridge-Freezer temp gauge"-until I realized that my phone camera was hiding those words which you could tell were made from a label maker.)

I did finally realize that all I needed was to order 2 more temp remotes from LaCrosse Technologies that would work with my tickless clock. The results- I have one unit that gives me the temperatures for the inside- the outside and Temp 2 for the fridge:

PLUS temp 3 for the freezer!
