Entertainment Center... In-Depth

This is a closer look of the Entertainment Center.  It is not perfect by any means (the stain color -for one) but it is functional.
We had to get it delivered so we could add the electrical and cut in the wiring holes.
I will give a brief description under each picture.

Hidden electrical outlet that is feeding the printer drawer.

Here is the printer pull-out drawer with the electrical strip being fed from the above mentioned plug.

Wire management & loom that was added to handle the Blu-Ray wiring.
Sub-woofer wiring that has it's own grommet going down from the Blu-Ray shelf, past the adjustable shelf and to the woofer.

Main cabinet. The section that has the doors includes an adjustable shelf and 2 sliding doors on the back so we can access the hidden TV lift compartment. You can see the wiring that I mentioned above on the left side.
You can see how the sliding door gives us access. You can also see the sub-woofer wiring coming down from the Blu-Ray that is on the exposed shelf.
The right side of the sliding door is completely open. The left side will also open just like this.

More Electrical Today

Today had a mixed bag of electrical things that were done.
An electrical plug with USB was installed on the left side of the new Entertainment Center. This will be great for the passenger while traveling down the road since it is directly behind the passenger seat.
The speaker wires for the front speakers have been dropped down to the Entertainment Center. (It is great not to have those unsightly wires hanging out of the cabinet.) The speakers have also been mounted so they won't be going anywhere now.

The second plug that is in the television housing area of the Entertainment Center has been installed also.

Both plugs shown above were fed from the main box that was put in yesterday.
You can see where the box is located in the photo below. The left wire was used for the USB plug- the right wire feeds the plug that is on the right side of the Entertainment Center.

...Yes- the entertainment cabinet is about a week late being installed- BUT it is going in early Wednesday morning!

I hope he wrote down his measurements because it has to be perfect in order for the TV to raise & lower.

Home Theater- Part One

We have a Sony Home Theater system that will part of the Entertainment Center but it would be hard for the front speakers to stand on the cabinet.
Our solution was to put them in the cabinet above the TV.
