A Minor Irritation Has Been Remedied

You can see the switches that are just inside the front door.

The order of these switches were as follows:
  • Switch that turns on the front cabin lights
  • Switch that turns on the outside light
  • Red switch that works the outside steps.
Here is the new orientation of these switches:
  • Red switch that works the outside steps
  • Switch that turns on the outside light
  • Switch that turns on the front cabin lights

This post is more about an irritation for my DH than it is about something that had to be done-but is has been done....none the less!

Newest Project-

The newest project that is being worked on is the front cabinet fans.
The fans used to be on a front cabin rocker switch. "Dear Husband" is halfway done-

The Dash fan switch was used to turn both fans at the same time- and it had an "OFF"- "LOW" or "HIGH" switch.
It now will work separately - and it has a variable speed!

Wi-Fi Upgrade

We found that our Wi-Fi in the Damon had a very weak signal when it is connected to the home Wi-Fi so we decided to pick up an extender.

We decided to order an Amped Wireless Extender from Costco. This particular extender will also handle the newest type of Wi-Fi.
This is an High Power 700mW Dual Band AC
Wi-Fi Range Extender that will boost the coverage to 10,000 square feet.

We will mount this in a non-visible location now that we know it works!

Kitchen Plumbing Is Complete

The under sink plumbing is done-

DH even found a fancy way to secure the plumbing so that it isn't hanging loose -

HepVo is Installed

DH did the Hepvo installation today. It has added more space under the sink. Let me  show you with some photos.

You can see the old plumbing with the p-trap taking up precious storage space. The amount of plumbing pipe that was used is easy to see in this photo:

Here is another photo of the plumbing under the sink-next to the new installation:
Here is a photo of the HepVo along with a photo of the finished drainpipe installation. .

(The faucet lines obviously have not been hooked up yet.)

New Plumbing

We installed the new sink recently but we had not hooked up the plumbing yet.
The sink strainer assembly is now in -
And we have the plumbing piece that will get rid of the p-trap under the sink.  We will do this by installing the Hepvo sanitary waste valve.
