New Captains Chairs

I think I failed to mention that the Captain's Chairs are in the cockpit now.

Here is a photo of the "before" chairs:

And here are some photos of the "After" chairs:
I will admit that we were not pleased with the finished product from Flexsteel- but Bradd and Hall were great to work with in getting a discount for the poor workmanship.

New Tail-Lights

We really have not fallen off the face of the earth and we have been doing a few things to the Diamond.
The latest completed project gave it more bling- LED tail-lights!

My dear husband removed the old lights from the body-at the same time leaving the wires hooked to the light housing.
.
He was lucky enough that the new LED lights were "plug and play" - meaning he was able to disconnect one wire and put it on the same location of the new lights.

...And here is the finished product:

Bedroom Sconces

Another project was completed today-

The bedroom sconces have been mounted.

You can see from these other photos that the sconces are directional- You can rotate them so that they can be pointed to wherever you want them.

Built In Vacuum

We have added our own "built-in" vacuum cleaner!  It is a battery powered Dyson DC59.

A nice attachment is the "flex-crevice" tool that will get under the slide before we pull the slide in.

This is why I am calling it a "built-in" vacuum-

Yep- it is now mounted in the closet!

A Minor Irritation Has Been Remedied

You can see the switches that are just inside the front door.

The order of these switches were as follows:
  • Switch that turns on the front cabin lights
  • Switch that turns on the outside light
  • Red switch that works the outside steps.
Here is the new orientation of these switches:
  • Red switch that works the outside steps
  • Switch that turns on the outside light
  • Switch that turns on the front cabin lights

This post is more about an irritation for my DH than it is about something that had to be done-but is has been done....none the less!

Newest Project-

The newest project that is being worked on is the front cabinet fans.
The fans used to be on a front cabin rocker switch. "Dear Husband" is halfway done-

The Dash fan switch was used to turn both fans at the same time- and it had an "OFF"- "LOW" or "HIGH" switch.
It now will work separately - and it has a variable speed!
