Meeting Up

I am excited to meet up with an old acquaintance this next week.  I first met some of this company in the summer of 2008. They have a great reputation of being meticulous about their workmanship.

DH and I are looking forward to meet up with Jon Brazel of Brazel's RV Performance again to have a few things done this next week.

Thank you to Alan for accommodating us as we pass through Washington!

Showing Off The New Look

We were getting new "shoes" the last time I posted ... and every guy knows that we women love new shoes! :-)

Here are a couple of photos of them.

You can see the rear set here-

...and here is a photo of the front shoes...

(Please excuse the mud and dirt on the mud flaps but we are traveling and they don't want us to bathe our Diamond.)

Alive and Well

Yes...we do still exist.

There have been some major adjustments that we were dealing with.My mom-in-law has been living with us since early 2009 when it was determined that she had Alzheimer's.

She became much worse the last couple of years so much of my free time kept me away from my beloved Damon.

It also kept DH from being able to spend much time working on the Daybreak.

Our circumstances have now changed to the extent that we are actually out and on the road!

Keep your eyes open for new posts this coming week!

New Shoes

So our Diamond is getting "new shoes".

We decided to take care of everything starting with tossing the wheel covers that had been scraped more than once by the previous owners.
We have started by having the wheels powder-coated. We had them done by Champion Powder Coating in Rancho Cordova.
This photo does not show the metal flake shine - but these wheels look awesome in person.

Coming soon- brakes and new tires.

Kitchen Re-Do 2016

The kitchen has had close to a complete remodel-
Here are a few photos of the project...with a slideshow at the end.

New Kitchen!

New Kitchen Sink Lighting

I almost forgot to mention the new light above the kitchen sink area!
.
We decided  to add a light above the sink instead of using the little battery operated puck lights that I had put up.  The decision was based on having access to the wiring that is under the microwave .
(You can see the puck lights in the first two photos at this post.)

You can see the wiring that has been fed into the hole that DH drilled.

Kitchen Re-Do Part 4

The new microwave oven is now in!

We decided to put in a Microwave only instead of a Microwave /Convection oven. It was pretty much impossible to find a replacement convection oven that was small enough to fit into the cabinet...and it became easy to give it up once I realized that I had not used the convection oven at all since owning the Daybreak.

We went with the 1.5 Cubic foot LG because it was almost the same dimensions as the old Panasonic.

This microwave has an interior that is curved- so it will be easier to wipe down the inside since there are no corners in the back.
