Steps- Part 2

You can see the difference from the previous post in the difference  of the hinge size in this photo-

These photos have the new rubber and  part of the new stair nosing on it also-.

...And here is the completely trimmed stairwell-

Steps -Part 1

We (aka DH) should finish the steps this weekend -if he is able to find the right screws. Here are a few pics showing what we did change out though -
You can see the gold piano hinge that is less than halfway across the step in this photo:

We have attached a longer hinge in a different finish so that it blends better and that it will be more sturdy.

Here are a couple of other pics of the "In-Process" work. . .

OBD Mounted

I am looking for a photo from a couple of years ago because it was almost impossible to find the OBD all tangled up in the wires under the dash- but trust me-it was there.

Here is where we mounted it:

-And here is a photo of the Scan Gauge plug disconnected from it.

I should have actually started this a long time ago...I will try to build a list for all the things we have purchased and where we bought them.

Feel free to ask for information on anything before I add it to the list. I will add it to the list as quick as I can after it has been requested.

Window Awnings Continued...

The other side of the RV now has the 2 window awnings installed.
Here is a photo of the awning rail for the large awning:

...and here are two more photos with the awnings on:
.

Full-View Window Awning

I thought I should share what the view is like when you look out a window that has the "Full-view" window awning shade.

Someone also commented- wondering if it will keep out the heat...and the answer is "yes"!

Window Awnings

There are a list of never-ending projects here at the "Diamond" household and this is one of the most current ones-
We have gone from this-

...to this...

Yes- We have started putting on new window awnings.

Here is a photo of the first one installed with it open-

You can see we went with the "full-view awning material. I hope we like it as much as I think we will!
