There are 2 reasons for me posting this photo -
The first is so I can stare at it and contemplate what else we need to do before remounting the speaker...
...The second is just because I needed the RV fix for the day!
My husband & I recently purchased a 1999 Damon Daybreak motorhome and I have decided this may be the easiest way to document our own "polishing" of the "diamond in the rough" -or in plain english ..."Our Remodel" of this RV.

New Electrical for the Future
I thought I would share the progress that has been made on the electrical for the future satellite receiver & controller area.
I last shared a post showing the 14 gauge wiring that had been pulled through near the top cabinet. Here is the other end to that wire before it has been hooked up-
-and here it is pulled into the electrical panel.
This last photo shows the other end of the wire peeking through before being hooked up to another outlet.

Another New Project Has Begun-
We were discussing the projects that have yet to be started or that need to be completed before we re-install the front cabin chairs. (It is much easier to do these things without the driver and passenger chairs in the way!)
One project is to add an electrical outlet that is tied to the inverter so that we can have the future satellite receiver still function if we are dry-camping.
Here is a photo of the wiring that is being pulled so that we have it for the future outlet. It is the white wire that is just "hanging out". It is obviously not live.

Front Speaker Swap
I don't consider myself an audiophile - but I know these original speakers are not very good-
-so we decided to do something about it while we are re-doing the front cabin area.
Here are the original speakers on the right next to the new ones that are going in.
These final photos are of the Polk speakers installed -but the front cover that was silver has been painted black! (Thank U DH!!)

More Cable Wiring
We decided that we would run an HDMI cable and an antenna cable over to the entertainment center so that it would be hidden. The easiest way to do that is to run the wires under the plank flooring.
You can see the wiring tucked under the plank before the wires were fished up through the A Panel.
Here is a photo of the wiring as it comes out from under the other end. You can also see a photo in the previous post that shows how the cables are hidden behind the back wall at the other end.
This is a photo of the connector plate that will go into the Entertainment Center. It will give us the Coax cable connection plus a few HDMI cable options to use.

Passenger Backwall Project
The front passenger cabin-wall has an air vent that had been surrounded by carpet. Evidently you could never really see it because of the passenger seat - but we know it is there.
We have removed the carpeting on that back wall and added some of the planks to help cover the back wall. We will do the finish work in this area after all the flooring has been completed.
